Valentino Rossi just lost the 2006 Moto-GP World Championship title ! (by 5 points, btw..)

Whoa… what a final Moto-GP race today… Rossi was hitting the asphalt for the first time, something that is so un-Rossi and doing so he’s pratically handed the Championship to no.2 Hayden for free.. what a drama, ironic, anti-climax, comical..

Rossi was leading the championship for the first time in this season coming to the last race… (this happened when Hayden who were leading the championship was hit and brought down by his own team mate, 2 weeks ago). When today race started, Rossi was leading the pole position, but then had a bad start, fell to 7th place on the first corner and then fell all over the asphalt and gravel on the 5th lap. He quickly get up, take the bike and ride again but he already in the 20th place a.k.a last place, fighting his way up but can only came as far as 13th place (yeah.. talking about bad luck)

Don’t know what was happened, maybe Rossi was too nervous and the pressure was too much, but he’s already had 7 world champion titles under his belt so he must have get used to any kind of pressure…. or not? it’s seems that he kinda had a bad-luck on a bad-day. Maybe just bad season for him, lot’s of troubles all over this season, bad engines, broken tires, broken bones, vibration problems and on the final race… a butt all over the asphalt and gravel.

Rossi started the season by crashing (he was hit by another rider) and it was in Spain. He ended this season by crashing again (this time by his own mistake) and it’s again happen in Spain.. what a coincidence… Moto-GP yg aneh.

It’s been the most anticipated race of the season. The final show-down between Rossi and Hayden on the final race with only 8 points separated them (first podium would get 25 points). Rossi has been a fighter-racer and his action always brings and add some spice up to the race. Hayden has performed constantly throughout the season and leading the champhionship all the way till the race 15th when he was kissing the road for the first time. On today race, Hayden and Rossi was hitting each other bike right after the start, kinda Hayden want to give a sign to Rossi that he mean bussines or he just want to suprise him.. seems that Rossi was shocked and could not hold on to his bike 4 laps later. The expected excitement to see a good and nice fight between the two fine riders was gone very early… too bad.

It such an ironic, because for the first time in the season Rossi was leading the Moto-GP world championship, eventhough with a small margin of 8 points, but usually it’s more than enough for "The Doctor" to wrap things up. On one race he was high on the World Championship title and on the next race everything just evaporate and he was kissing the ground… that’s life.

When the race ended, Rossi back to his garage and greeted by his fellow team crews and friends, I think he got the biggest and best hug compare to when he was winningn a race…

2007 will be much better.. could not wait for March 10.

bangun sahur hari ini perasaan ga karuan bin aneh, nyawa sepertinya ga ada di badan… (out of body experience??… hehehe). dunno why, mungkin karena abis makan nasi kebulli dan lotz of daging kambing malam sebelummnya, who knows.. (entahlah apa hubungannya sama daging kambing.. mungkin kebanyakan..)

Sahur seperti biasa di warteg yang berjarak sktr 200m dr tempat kost, cuman pagi ini perjalan ke warung aneh-melayang spt mimpi… nyawa entah kemana.. at least masih sempat makan sahur, ga seperti beberapa hari yg lalu… sahur pun ga sempat karena bablas ketiduran, padahal weker sudah diset max.volume di dua waktu yang berbeda. waktu ga sahur sempat bikin panic jg, soalnya ada maag parah yang biasanya ga kenal kompromi kalo telat makan. untungnya hari itu ga ada kejadian luar biasa, ..just OK.
